The most romantic restaurant in Dubai, especially worth savoring on the last night before leaving. Pierchic is set at the very end of a wooden pier, stretching into the gulf. Not a long stroll along it perhaps is enough to forget about surrounding construction-site atmosphere, canals and bridges embroidering settings of Al Qasr (a restaurant of a 5-star beach hotel), and even an electro-mobile that had taken you there. Gentle ripple of waves and Burj Al Arab in the distance, changes its color from white to yellow and purple, forms a splendid, peaceful panorama that can hardly be surpassed. Palm Island, Dubai Marina, Jumeirah Beach Hotel, resembling a huge blue wave - everything is spread out before you. A very good kitchen (haute cuisine is not to be expected, however) and prices commensurate with a quality and location, which is not so typical to Dubai. A main course costs an average of 170 - 210 AED, only if lobster has not been your choice (650 AED). As Pierchic is among the most sought after spots in Dubai, a table has to be booked in advance.
Dinner for two with a glass of homemade wine costs about 700 - 800AED.
