Cinéma du Panthéon is one of the oldest cinemas in Paris - built in 1907, and the first one to set off showing movies in English. Once it became a significant arena of the French New Wave. An all-new café is another reason making visiting of this legendary movie theatre worthwhile. Its interior is designed by the Grande Dame of French cinema Catherine Deneuve in association with antiques dealer Christian Sapet. Parquet floors, vintage furniture, Murano lamps and antiquities - moreover, some of these items being authentic relics of cinema history. Black and white photos - Dietrich, Hiсkok, Delon as well as books about film art. An elegant, cozy and savory place - an ideal spot for an evening with a light meal and a glass of wine followed by a good movie. Menu - quite small, yet well though-out. Le Café du Cinéma is opened from Monday to Friday from 12.00 to 19.00.
