Tan Dinh

One of the greatest Vietnamese restaurants in the city! With Parisians swarming there every night, a booking should certainly be made in advance. In spite of underwhelming interior, having witnessed a renovation just in the 70ies, Tan Dinh is much favored by bankers, artists and other high-flying people. They, who come here, wish not only to treat their taste buds, but savor some of its outstanding Pomerol and Petrus along with it. The wine list is spectacular, indeed. Just take a glance at numerous Wine Spectator prizes to ascertain that in your exaltation you're not alone.
None the less outstanding is food - Vietnamese culinary masterpieces with a touch of French cuisine. A team of two brothers are in charge of cooking, while fondly chatting with guests, too. The most amiable figure at Tan Dinh, however, is a father of both chefs - a man in his nineties, hustling around the dining room, friendly patting at someone's shoulder and offering competent opinion on choice of wine. It looks as if everybody knows each other there...
Servings are relatively small, making Tan Dinh an ideal spot for a late-night light gourmet meal. An excellent service! A meal for two cost about 200 euro.
