King Kamehameha Suite

Author: Anothertravelguide.com0 COMMENTS

King Kamehameha Suite, repeatedly included in the list of the best German restaurants, is worth paying a visit, if only for its location. Moreover, it is no ordinary restaurant - more like a culinary empire, housed in a splendid Neo-Classical mansion, comprising several bars, a lounge and two restaurants. It is a setting worthy of the silver screen: a magnificent marble staircase; a 800-metre high atrium featuring a different bar, a soft lounge sofa or some restaurant tables in each landing. The most exquisite gem of the empire is the second-floor Atrium Restaurant which is only open at night. Admittedly, the local gourmet circles have lately been referring to the Atrium with slightly tentative intonations: after all, its former renowned Michelin-starred chef resigned recently; his successor has not as yet established his own standards.
