O&B Athens Boutique Hotel

One of the most charming hotels in Athens with an almost ideal location - in a tiny side street of the Psirri district, somewhat away from the tourist Athens and yet at the same time - a seven-minute walk from the Acropolis and the taverns of the Gazi un Psirri districts, on the crossroads of the old and the new Athens. There are just ten rooms, which means the hotel offers a pleasant feel of intimacy. Admittedly, the rooms, typical of a metropolis hotel, are quite small (standard room - 14-16 m², superior room 20-24 m²), and yet the design is so ergonomic you don't actually need much more than that. The decor is dominated by warm tones: orange cushions and chairs in vibrant colours add a bright accent to the beige and brown colour scheme. A spacious marble bathroom with an excellent shower and great toiletries; wireless Internet access - every detail has been given a lot of thought and attention. The only significant fault you can find with the otherwise perfect ambience is the lovely flower arrangement which on closer inspection turns out to be fake - a disappointment.
The hotel lobby is not large but well thought-out design-wise; the central elements are chairs and a giant mirror. The extremely knowing staff can provide you with all the necessary information on the current culture events and gastronomic highlights of the city. The hotel serves excellent breakfast including freshly squeezed orange juice, croissants straight from the oven, natural yoghurt, etc. (choose from the menu). The only thing you have to keep in mind is that this is Greece and nothing ever happens very quickly here. On the other hand - what is the hurry?
