3 Rooms

3 Rooms is an offspring of Carla Sozzani fashion and style emporium 10 Corso Como, and definitely one of the best lodging options in Milan. A small, 3-room B&B opened its doors only in 2003, while the rest of the shopping complex containing a boutique, an art gallery and a café is there already since 1991. Three rooms are actually three apartments, to be more precise, each consisting of a living room, a bedroom, a spacious bathroom and a closet. Each apartment occupies an entire floor, and has a lovely view onto the inner courtyard, entwined in greenery. Sounds of music and babble of voices from small cafes, scattered along the nearby pedestrian-only street will not disturb you. In summer, a wild jasmine bursts into bloom right at the entrance door, and an instant feel of homely coziness surrounds as soon as you step over the threshold. Indeed, everything is much like at home, including a bookcase holding an impressive library for any taste, both coffee table books and literature for reading. Each room features Bang&Olufsen CD player with a small selection of discs and furniture that any design museum would take pride in, including four Arne Jacobsen egg chairs in the living room and some pieces from Verner Panton, Colombo, Paulin, Gio Ponti and others. It is worth to mention also artworks by Kris Ruhs, adorning the walls and Alessi coffee machine. Each room has a PC and wireless internet access for your laptop. A special breakfast menu allows marking your choice for the next day, and in the morning, a first meal of your day will be delivered from the downstairs café right to your room, alongside with a fresh newspaper, if you wish so. Moreover, unlike at many other Milan hotels, breakfast is included! In a nutshell, everything is designed just the way it should be to make you feel perfectly at home while spending few days in Milan.
As there are only 3 rooms, bookings should be done well in advance.
