L'Isola d'Oro

Undistinguished and modest from the outside, a well-hidden dining place for patrician Parioli families - a Sardinian osteria with an excellent choice of fish and sea food. Usually it's hard to get further than the antipasto course (starters) - you will be exhausted and there will be no room left in your stomach. Excellent shrimp cream risotto; octopuses and other sea creatures prepared in a variety of ways. Do opt for the house wine, it is quite good and suits the food served in the restaurant. The best choice for dessert is panna cotta with wild berry coulis. It's definitely worth sampling one of the best-kept Sardinian secrets, mirto or myrtle berry liquor with your coffee and the traditional Sardinian biscotti. Two or three courses accompanied by house wine will cost approximately EUR 45-55 per person. $$
