Al Bottegon

Al Bottegon, also called Cantinone Gia Schiavi, is a great place to go if you've missed lunch or simply don't want to devote the usual 1½ to 2 hours for your midday meal. They serve really good cicchetti (Venetian snacks or side-dishes) here, which, along with a glass of spritz or prosecco, make for a satisfying but quick lunch – either right there at the bar or canal-side. Similar places for quick bites can be found in the vicinity of the Rialto, as well as in the cicchetti bars in the Cannaregio district of Venice.
