Antikvariāts Cafe

Antikvariāts Cafe, the younger sister of Boulangerie, is the smallest and most charming restaurant in Liepāja. Mikus and Ieva Fomins envisioned it like a living room, and that's exactly how it feels, complete with family heirlooms, a crystal chandelier, carefully selected lithographs, antiques, and other vintage gems. The atmosphere is so authentic, warm, and alive that you really feel like you're visiting a Liepāja home. The patina feels as real as Grandfather's clock on the wall, so it's hard to believe that Antikvariāts Cafe opened only relatively recently. And it all began with oysters, which had been almost impossible to find in Liepāja. Except for the oysters, the rest of the menu is mostly locally sourced, and if the local fishermen have been out on the sea that morning, the menu will also include something from their catch.
