Hotel Neiburgs

The recently opened Hotel Neiburgs is situated in one of the most beautiful and ornate, Art Nouveau buildings in Old Riga. Its interior has been expertly redesigned to incorporate some of the edifice's original, decorative elements with more contemporary items and furniture.
Note the ornaments painted on the walls and ventilation grilles, for example. These resulted not from the whim of an interior designer, but were copied from drawings on the original floor tiles and kitchen ventilation shafts.
Many of the building's wooden doors have also started on a new life, and in a number of the hotel rooms, the original ceiling decorations and paintings have been uncovered and preserved.
Although the Hotel Neiburgs is situated on a fairly narrow street, the views that it offers of the Old Town from its higher floors are hard to beat in terms of splendour. Whether it be a view of the Dome Cathedral over red, roof gables, or the spire of St. Peter's Church from an unusual angle, or the sunset over the left bank of the Daugava River, or the activity below on the Old Town's cobbled streets - any one of the establishment's 55 rooms is a room with a view in the true meaning of the word.
A library room and spa are also available for the hotel's guests.
