Madam Bonbon

Madam Bonbon is obsessed with footwear. She adores shoes nearly to the point of fetishism, in fact. Her salon, Madam Bonbon, is one of the brightest stars in the firmament of Riga's eclectic fashion scene, located in an Art Nouveau apartment on Alberta iela, in the heart of the city's most fashionable district.
Sipping tea or champagne in what seems to be almost a private dwelling, among Art Deco furnishings, lamps from the 1950s, an antique stove and 19th-century lounge chairs, the focus will still always stay on the shoes, which have been so elegantly arrayed around the apartment - on the tea table in the guest room, on the window sills, the piano, the worn suitcase... and even on the sweets tray.
In the bedroom, the fresh, white bedspread also shows off shoes. Select pairs - the pinnacle of Madam Bonbon's collection - are found in the powder room. Along with a retro hair dryer, tub and mirrors, you'll find the fanciest footwear in Latvia.
Madam Bonbon's offerings are dominated by Spanish makes like Pedro Garcia, Rocío Mozo, Magrit, Pons Quintana and Chie Mihara. Whilst the ladies try on shoes, their companions can recline on the sofa and watch classic Latvian films from the 1970s - on a vintage black-and-white TV set, of course.

In addition, Madam Bonbon is not concealing her passion for the fashion as well. To her shoe collection she has added clothing and accessories created by Latvian designers - Cinnamon, Natālija Jansone, Baiba Ripa and Kristiana Laure. Most clothing can be ordered in your size (if it is no longer available in salon) or in a different color (from the color palette).
