Kitchen

Style, decent prices, and quality – at Kitchen, these three criteria are in perfect balance. This restaurant, which could just as well be called a reasonably-priced gourmet bistro, is located on the first floor of a historic building directly across from the town square.

With its minimalistic, industrial-style décor, one could just as well imagine the establishment being in, for example, Berlin. Diners can enjoy their meal sitting at either a long communal table, or at smaller separate ones; on warm evenings, a few tables are set out on a modestly-sized balcony.

The menu has accents that are noticeably contemporary-Mediterranean in style: excellent salads (e.g. beet and pear salad with goat cheese), and a good selection of appetizers and main dishes. Portions are generous, and the prices are moderate. Their wine selection is very good, even by the glass, which has helped Kitchen earn a respectable following as a place to just meet-up with friends, as well as for going out to lunch or dinner.
