Van Gogh Museum

This is one of the most popular museums in Amsterdam and boasts the largest Van Gogh collection in the world: some 200 paintings and 700 sketches. The permanent exhibition is housed in the main building of the museum, built in the 1920s. The annex designed by the Japanese architect Kisho Kurokawa hosts temporary exhibitions.
