Among the creative circles of Warsaw, the Między Nami Cafe enjoys the status of an insiders' club of sorts. The small cafe serves as an informal hub of the city, a platform for a diversity of activities and ideas. It is often used as a venue for art shows; the owners also publish a series of stylish and quite untraditional magazine-format travel guides to various European cities: Paris, Rome, Berlin, London, etc., as well as music CDs and books, including the Tastes of Warsaw cookbook, a collection of recipes by the top chefs working in the Polish capital today. The most recent addition to all things Między Nami is a tiny three-room B&B under the same name: a discreet oasis of luxury in the very heart of Warsaw, housed in a historical 19th-century building. There is an individual, slightly different character to each of the rooms; in a way, the laconic contemporary decor is like a blank canvas, made unique and so much more personal by the works of local artists featured in each room.
