The Powiekszenie cafe/club, which owes its name to Blow Up, Antonioni's classical movie, is one of the most colourful stops in the alternative Warsaw. While the club is located in Nowy Swiat, one of the city's most legendary streets - once part of the royal road, today jam-packed with posh shops and cafes - you are not very likely to stumble on it by accident. Like many other locally popular addresses, Powiekszenie is hiding in the yard. There is no noticeable sign or anything, just follow the general stream of visitors... Featuring industrial decor and youthful creative buzz as the background noise, the always-crowded place regularly hosts various concerts (jazz, electro, contemporary rock, etc.) and well-known Djego sessions - a distinctly those-in-the-know atmosphere.
