Rozbrat 20

Its graphically elegant and laconic interior resembles a black & white photo or an old movie, yet at the same time oozes warm coziness - a rose in a small gravy-boat, a wine-shelf adorning the room and old wooden parquet. White-clad tables and shiny white tiles on the walls. Rozbrat 20 boasts to have a title of the best newcomer on Warsaw restaurant scene in 2009, and fully deserves it. It features creative, international cuisine with a slight Italian touch and very friendly price-value relationship. Salads - average 21 to 37 zloty. Duck breast with grilled polenta and figs - 60zloty. It also features an ample and professionally compiled wine list. Rozbrat 20 has another important trait, typical to quality restaurants - being there, makes you feel like a connoisseur! Surrounded by block-houses, it is situated slightly off the common tourist tracks, not far from Lazienkowski Park, and you would hardly drop in there just by chance. It's a paradox and uniqueness of Warsaw - the best spots of the city are set in the places where normally you wouldn't even look for them.
