A restaurant worth taking a special trip to, a place you will always want to revisit - if only for the fantastic ambience. It is housed in a converted warehouse (with a view of the Moskva River); the Anna Domini design studio has used the size of the place to full extent. The first thing you notice as soon as you set foot into the restaurant is the huge flight of stairs leading up, lined with burning candles. The cloakroom is to the right, the dining hall in white, grey and black - to the left. All furniture was custom-made for Maison Café, including the impressive white wine cabinet reaching up to the very ceiling. Every single detail is a pleasure to behold - not to mention the fine European cuisine and one of the best wine lists in the city.
