Nobu

Nobu is the newest offspring of the well-known brand belonging to the renowned Japanese chef Nobuyuki Matsuhisa and Hollywood actor Robert de Niro. Opened in Moscow only in April 9, 2009, it has already become the most talked-about venue of the season. There are 23 Nobu restaurants around the globe, the first one was opened in New York and attained its Michelin star just three years after. Nobu has become the planet's most recognized restaurant chain of today offering innovative new style, top quality Japanese gastronomy with a touch of Western and South American flavors. Without any doubt, Nobu Moscow treads in the footsteps of its world's counterparts. Its opening alone was attended by the big shots of the business circles including a millionaire and the President of the Crocus Group, Aras Agalarov, one of the major co-financers of the new Nobu.
The restaurant spreads over the 4th floor of the apartment building belonging to Agalarov and embodies the best of Nobu traditions. Its décor fuses contemporary minimalism and the classic Japanese esthetic values, and features dark brown and pearl-shell palette and plenty of natural materials - wood, stone and even bamboo stems at the entrance. An amazing interplay of lights livens up the whole place and creates an unforgettable ambiance. Nobu restaurants around the world are visited by Tom Cruise, Paris Hilton and Beckham couple, thus the one in Moscow is bound to attract the local show biz luminaries as well.
