Beluga Deluxe

A souvenir boutique in the best sense of the word. It gives a feel of stylized, contemporary version of a Russian fairytale or else - a luxurious jewel-case that opens as soon as you ring the door-bell. An amazing décor features white boles of birch trees, a twinkling crystal chandelier, lightening a table with amber jewelry and legendary Arne Jacobsen's egg chairs, adorned with traditional embroidery. Fine artwork of Russian craftsmen - jewelry, vases, crockery, Faberge eggs, stylized items of typical folk art and much more are exhibited in golden frames and glass niches along one of the walls. Prices are proportional - therefore do not search for cheep souvenirs there. Five small jars of black caviar - the finest product you could ever find in Russia, perhaps - are elegantly displayed in a laconic, black fridge. Before leaving Beluga Deluxe, do not miss the opportunity of visiting its restroom, as the Russian fairytale scenery with white birches extends there as well. Only slowly falling sow flakes could make the picture more perfect...

My husband and I bought a $150 worth caviar in the store. After we went back to hotel and taste it. It tasted so fishy and the jar is all rusty. We brought it back to store next day and the manager ( a short blond guy ) insisted all the jar are the same rusty and there is nothing wrong with them. We told him if you dare to eat it to proof the extremely fishy and rusty jar is normal..we are totally fine without getting our money back.
After 5 minutes arguing the manager finally taste it and he asked one of his employees to share with him. He doesn't even have the guts to finish it all by himself. We had caviar before and after we arrived in Moscow, we spent another $1000 worth buying 6 different jars caviar from GUM and local 24/7. All of them taste delicious and none of them has fishy taste plus rusty jar problem.
We were very disappointed about the caviar quality in beluga deluxe. Further more, the stupid manager who insists RUSTY JAR is normal even make the whole scene worse. Don't even waste money in this tourist trap buying worth less caviar and might even make you sick.

The products are better and are cheaper than in Hermitage Museum for example. There are simpler products and more sophisticated ones.
It's a place that must be visited.
