Aside from La Paradeta restaurant, El Born area has yet another jewel to offer. Big Fish, designed in contemporary style, offers more than just regional Spanish cuisine. It boasts fabulous Japanese, Vietnamese and Mediterranean seafood dishes, including excellent sushi and sashimi. Although Big Fish belongs to gourmet establishments and invests much effort in food presentation, its light décor and friendly service exudes free and easy atmosphere. Wearing jeans for an evening meal wouldn't be out of place at all. Dark wooden tables, red shutters and fragments of whitewashed brick walls. In daytime, its large windows fill the room with plenty of sunlight, and from the end of the dining hall you can catch a glimpse of cooks bustling about the kitchen.
