The Fifth Floor

Author: Anothertravelguide.com0 COMMENTS

The Fifth Floor is located on the top floor of the Harvey Nichols style department store; ambience-wise it reminds of a smaller version of the Berlin KDV. It also houses a small food store that always carries fresh produce as well as snacks in stylish and strikingly-designed packaging. It is frequently changed and, as often as not, includes black-and-white photos by a well-known artist. You can also buy excellent cookbooks among other things there. Suit your culinary inclinations and mood: The Fifth Floor offers a meal at a sushi bar (complete with the ever-popular sushi conveyor belt) or at a white-tablecloth restaurant, as well as a more democratic surroundings to break bread. The latter is an excellent choice if you feel like a nice and quick lunch after a certain amount of time spent on a sartorial quest exploring all the other floors of Harvey Nichols.
