Zuma

Author: Anothertravelguide.com0 COMMENTS

When Zuma Japanese restaurant was opened in London in 2002, there were people who were quick to proclaim it a serious competitor to the world famous Nobu restaurant chain, also represented in London. More than a few Oriental cuisine establishments have arrived on the London restaurant scene since then; Zuma is nevertheless still one of the most popular London addresses. The menu is quite extensive and includes both a selection of sushi and sashimi varieties and a choice of fish courses worth trying. A breath of Tokyo is present in the interior design of luxurious minimalism: glass, steel, granite (from Japan) and wood (maple and cherry-tree from Indonesia). The pride of Zuma is London's first ever sake sommelier who will assist you in choosing not only the best-suited brand of sake but also recommend one of the sake-based special Zuma cocktails. By all means do book a table in advance.

Dinner for one (sake included) - approximately GBP 60.
