Bistrotheque

A French bistro, much favored by the creative crowd of the East End of London. As the name may suggest, Bistrotheque features a cabaret program as well. Majestic black grand piano supplements the otherwise minimalistic, industrial décor of its main dining room with a whitewashed brick wall and cool concrete flooring. Another restaurant room is decked out with dark oak panels and oozes warm coziness. Yet for even more intimate atmosphere you have to opt for a candlelit bar with a small, velvet-draped stage.
Bistrotheque's menu is uncomplicated yet creative interpretation of typical English - French cuisine, for example, well made traditional Fish 'n' Chips, savory steak tartare and perfectly prepared lamb.
A table has to be booked in advance, best of through an online booking system on the restaurant's website.
