The Frick Collection

A legendary museum housing the private collection of Henry Frick, the 19th century steel tycoon and world famous art collector, and his daughter Helen. The building itself - one of the 5th Avenue's finest - used to be the collector's residence. Among the gems of the Frick Collection you will find outstanding Renaissance works of art, paintings by El Greco, Titian, Rembrandt, Velázquez and Goya, Chinese porcelain etc. One of the greatest treasures is Vermeer's Mistress and Maid, obtained by the collector during the last year of his life.
