Gramercy Terrace

Gramercy Park hotel, a development project of Ian Schrager, a co-creator of the famous in the 70s Studio 54 nightclub and the boutique hotel genre as such, has reached an entirely new heights now by opening its top-floor Gramercy Terrace. Adorned lavishly with plants and flowers, it resembles a huge verdant wreath crowning the entire 16th floor perimeter of Julian Schnabel-designed hotel.
While the city extends deep below, here you can immerse yourself into profuse coziness conjured up by multitude of plants, interplay of lights and the presence of artworks by Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst. Music, literature, fashion and film art pervades the atmosphere of the hotel and it seeps out into the open space of the top floor as well in the form of inspiring conversations carried on while savoring an Italian style meal or sipping your favorite cocktail.
Regrettably, this realm of art and flora is not accessible by everyone - it's strictly for the guests of the hotel.
