Once being the home of a noble Russian family, now it is turned into a charming hotel of the category of Small Luxury Hotels.
Villa Castagnola consists of two buildings, the most modern one being located on the very lakeshore, yet available only during summertime. It features also a fine and stylish restaurant with a modern interior, however, true gastronomic pleasures should rather be searched someplace else in Lugano vicinity. It fames in numerous excellent pizzerias, offering great wines as well!
