United Arab Emirates excels with its superb golf courses and promises the most enjoyable game. I would like to single out just one of them - Dubai Creek Golf Course. Playing there, you will not even notice that it is in the very centre of the city. It offers remarkably smooth greens and perfectly groomed fairways, marked out by palm trees and artificial water bodies. The clubhouse, accommodating Dubai Creek Golf & Yacht Club, features a splendid silhouette of a white sail boat. It prides itself also in a Golf Academy, enhancing training with the latest technologies, like a swing video analyses studio.
It is a private golf club, however, and tee-times should be booked ahead, as its vast circle of members has priority right, of course. The club entrance fee is comparatively low (up to 5000 USD), while annual golf course maintenance fees are a great deal higher.
