Ogi

To enter this outlet of the OGI syndicate of booksellers/ "wide-profile establishments", one has to overcome certain difficulties of the orienteering kind: walk fearlessly into a seemingly impersonal yard and, following practically unnoticeable signs, take the steps that lead down into the basement. The picture that greets the visitor may remind some people of the former Slepenais Eksperiments club in Riga - with a principal difference, however. There is more to OGI than its basement interior design, tolerable food and club ambience: one of the rooms is a bookstore, and the books you will find there are just as tempting as the girls/guys working there are friendly. Which means - as friendly as a friendly bookstore clerk should ever be. (Remember Andrejs from the Riga Aperto Libro bookstore? He had a knack for convincing you that this particular book on ghosts is exactly what you had been looking for.

8/12 building 2, Potapovsky Pereulok
